As we needed to sail on the high tide early in the afternoon, Lugus and I decided not to take the field for the final battle. We made our way down to the Guilds to get payment from the Mages Guild for the previous night's work, but found Lady Driftwood to be absent. Commander Owen logged us a generous number of hours and we can claim payment at the next moot. I am to be recompensed in kind for my 'official' Militia work in the form of training.

Both Lugus and I think that Militia work could be lucrative and not too dangerous. I have put him ashore to continue his wanderings. We shall meet again at the Autumn Moot. I feel that many Trannies may be getting arrested...
